Today, a reminder is being sent your way to let you know there are still seats available for the first of my May Container Gardening Workshops being held this weekend, May 4th, 2019 @ 10 am to 11:30 pm on Succulent Hanging Baskets.

NOTE: If you are a last minute sign up – please do not hesitate to text me at 860-977-9473 to inquire if there are seats still open – on Saturday during the early a.m. I will check my texts before our session begins at 10 am.

The fee is $38 pp and includes a set of hardy and non-hardy succulents, the hanging basket with coco liner, and soil mix, fertilizer, and if you love to LEARN ABOUT SUCCS, I go over as much as possible on care, feeding, insects, propagation, and more. Handouts are provided for your reference and learning.

There are also two other dates available: May 11th, Broad Brook, 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, and May 18th, Vernon (at Strong Family Farm) on West Street, starting at 11 am.

Pre-Registration is recommended and payment in advance is required. However, as noted below, if you are last minute for this Saturday (May 4th) – please text me to inquire on seating availability. It is always first come first serve.

New Mother’s Day Gift Cards

Additionally, I wanted to share photos of my new Mother’s Day Gift Certificate Cards. They came out just lovely – and I am SURE there are mothers, sisters, daughters and those who celebrate Mother’s Day, that will love this as a gift – If you are local, these are great – they may be redeemed for workshops, plants, plant gifts, or stock plants. Workshops are held in Broad Brook, some in Vernon, and I attend the Ellington Farmer’s Market in the fall where plants are available for purchase as well. They are great in spring, fall, or winter. In winter we offer wreath and kissing ball workshops, and in fall we make succulent pumpkin centerpiece arrangements. And of course, great for upcoming spring workshops and plants such as tomato and pepper plants while supplies last!

You decide how much you wish to apply to the card amount. To arrange for pickup or delivery, contact me at containercathy@gmail.com, 860-977-9473, or if attending a workshop, they will be available for purchase at the workshops.

And again, the workshop this weekend is a great pick me up from this cool and rainy week of spring. I just know the weather is going to improve for us soon – and we will be enjoying our beautiful container gardens, hanging baskets, vegetable plants, and more.
