Ellington Farmers Market this Saturday, May 27th – Seeds and Artisans

Next up is my annual visit to the Ellington Farmers Market this Saturday, May 27th, 2017. I will be talking about “basic seed starting” based on my own trials and offering my favorite seeds for sale by Hudson Valley. Learn about why I love these seeds so much and how I use them in my container gardens and patio pots. There is still much sowing and planting to be enjoyed!

Plants for Sale

Additionally, I will have various tropical houseplants for sale – small and large houseplants – at special prices with tax included. Along with Bert’s Birdhouses again (which are made with reclaimed wood by my father.) And a few hanging baskets and succulent mix containers. All perfect to dress up your patio or porch!

Artisans

The markets theme on Saturday includes artists – and of course, the market’s usual wonderful line of farm market vendors. It is always a great time to stock up on yummy, fresh food items for the Memorial Day weekend there while you check everything out.

Gazebo – Where Talk is Held

I will be located at the white square gazebo (there are two on the site, one is round at the parking lot end), the square one is on the road side end. My talk will begin at 10 am for 45 minutes and is free to attend. Come on by to say hello. There will be handouts provided. I’m looking forward to seeing you.

Location and Schedule Information:

The market opens at 9 am and ends by 12 pm; held in Arbor Park in Ellington, CT. It is always popular and the weather is predicted to be nice. See you there my friends!
