Gardening in containers of all shapes and sizes is my passion, hobby, and former profession. It spurred everything I do with plants and is a wonderful way to learn about plants, gardening, and botany.

This blog site covers a span of 15+ years when I first started writing about container gardening and I still continue to write on it today.

Here it is, the year of 2025! Wow. I’m older, maybe wiser? I have worked with many types of plants (vegetables, succulents, cacti, houseplants, perennials, annuals, tropical, and herbs). I am finally “early-retired” and hope to stay that way. So, as I expand my interests, I will be adding various topics on this blog site, even some outside of container gardening, like other hobbies I have: camping, kayaking, travel, and various crafts made without live plants!
