How the Class Works: You bring your patio pots and we provide the education, plants, design tips, and more. It is a lot of fun, and we hope you will join us in 2017. Early sign-ups are recommended. You may sign up via contact forms on this blog, text 860-977-9473, or email containercathy@gmail.com. On our WorkshopsCT.com site, you will find links to register and pay by credit card also.

Class Location:  72 Harrington Road, Broad Brook, CT 06016 (held outdoors). Rain date following day.

Cost:  $15 per person for Broad Brook Workshop location.  Includes instructions, demo, hands-on process by you, and reference documentation. A variety of plants will be available for purchase.

You Bring: You will bring your own container or pot; the information on size and type will be discussed in the class flyer for registered attendees. You may bring your own potting mix or purchase mix available that day for sale. If you have big pots – don’t worry, we can deliver it to your home after if needed.

New Feature: For 2017, we will be introducing ideas about “indoor gardening” which is becoming popular and trending! Learn about how they benefit your health and wellness all year round.

Registration: Once registered, you will receive all the details via email.  Please fill out the Class Contact Form to express your interest. Also, if you follow this blog, you get automatic notifications of class workshops as soon as they are posted. See the right side box on this blog to become a blog follower.

Food:  Bring your own bagged lunch or snacks; food is not provided.

Who should attend?  People wanting to learn about how to design with amazing plants in container gardens.  The primary focus/theme for this year’s 2017 workshop will indoor gardening with a mix of varied styles of plants.

What to bring?  Yourself, a decorative container or pots, garden gloves, good shoes, and appropriate clothes based on weather conditions.  It may be a little chilly out if a cool spring morning.  It will be held outdoors.  If sunny, suntan lotion is recommended.

Weather changes:  If it is a severe rainfall kind of day, this class may be moved to Sunday but you will be notified the Friday prior based on weather forecast if the class gets moved to the rain date.

Registration is required:  The class fee will be requested via check to Cathy T’s Landscape Designs in advance of the class date to confirm and hold our reservation.  Any cancellations prior to one week of the class date will result in a non-refundable deposit.
